Default Finally bought our first one... questions

2008 Cruiser RV Fun Finder X Series M-230 DS

we bought this from a really nice couple. they stored it in the caves in kcmo and it has no smells and really looks new. we took it to the forest and are parking it for camping. are there any pointers for parking it in the woods. also we have contacted several dealers, Cruiser etc etc and cannot find an owners manual. been all over the internet looking. Help!
We have secured really well, put it on paver stones to to keep it off the ground, plan on buying the heavy duty winter tarp and tire covers.

1. any ideas getting the manual and any specific specs (been on nada)
if anyone has one we would be glad to pay for copies sent to us.

2. any thoughts and ideas on placing it in the forest we need to know.

we are just excited and making sure we are doing things correctly.

ps if you wondering why we are not hitting the road with it. we have a 200 acre forest we goto and one of us isnt well enough to travel long distances so this is our only option with it. no electric or water hook ups just a forest.

First, welcome!! Ask lots of questions -- we love helping newbies.

Second, though, you will probably have to learn how to back up before going to the woods. There are lots of videos on YouTube about how to do it. But it takes practice, practice, practice, usually in a big vacant parking lot.

Good luck!!

unfortunately the way we wanted the door to point was pulling it straight in
we will have to remove trees for the turn around. not backing it back out too tight too many trees lol. probably will stay put till it needs serviced.

Creating a "pull-through" site by cutting down trees is a real luxury -- this is your own land, right?

If you don't want to cut the trees, though, it is really not too hard to learn how to back up. And it is a skill that you will need, sooner or later. So don't give up! (Unless you need the firewood . . . )

I'm guessing it's Kansas City, Missouri?

The older Fun Finders had no RV manual but should have included all the installation and instruction manuals for the toilet, fridge, furnace, hot water heater etc. I was lucky enough to buy a 2007 X-139 where the original owner had filed them in a binder so that I have model numbers and part numbers if I need to repair something. If you buy a used model the manuals may not have been passed along from owner to owner. Cruiser RV does have a manual online for the new models that you may find useful.
