Default Hello

I have decided to not renew my apartment lease next September and just travel indefinitely. I have looked at many travel trailers but keep coming back to the Fun Finder series. I want to go as small and light as possible and am currently looking at the 139s, although I am 10-11 months from purchase time.
These models seem to offer the best layout I've seen in a 14 foot trailer. I have a 2004 Chevy Blazer with a class III hitch.
Boondocking and minimalist living have become of great interest to me.
I do have one comment about these forums. They seem to be rampant with spam posts. Does no one actively administrate this site?
Thanks

Hi and welcome! You've probably picked a good time to buy. In this economy there are deals to be had.

The spam is a relatively recent issue, just the last couple of weeks. This site doesn't get a huge amount of traffic so it doesn't take much to dominate the postings. Not sure about the moderators, certainly no has monitored in the last couple of weeks or Girard82 would have been banned and the posts deleted.

Good luck with your search!

The spam problem is about a three-click fix. It also sounds like there are some more active admins now.

I'm toying with the same idea...not renewing my apartment lease and putting the money into savings for a down payment...either on a house, or some land and potentially a bigger trailer.

Have you found any good resources?

Welcome, sounds like a great idea to save the rent payments.
