Default Hello All, New to Forum

Hi, I am the recent owner of a 2007 189 FBS. It is my first camper. My husband and I have been on three trips so far, and we are enjoying the heck out of it. The previous owner made quite a few modifications, some good, some not so much, but the camper is in excellent condition. I have read quite a few posts, and I'm sure he and I will get a lot of good information.

Welcome to the forums bobbygreen! Congrats on your "new to you" camper. If you have been lurking on the forum for awhile, you know what a great resource this place is. I see you have some questions listed in another thread but haven't gotten an answer yet. I am not familiar with your TT but hang in there and someone with the answers you are looking for will reply to you. The best thing about the forum is that some one has your answer and every one is willing to help.

Default Thanks, Neil

You are right about the resources. I've gotten plenty of good information without even asking, and I'm sure someone out there has had to rebuild one of those bunks, or knows some improvements to the design. It might even be me, since husband and I are going to take a stab at it tonight. I'll post the results under my question.

Default More new members!

Hi Everyone, Hubby and I are first time TT owners. A whole new world for us, we have done tent camping, but having TT will be a treat and very enjoyable. We will pick up our 2008 FF fbs 189 next week and we can't wait!! I have learned alot just reading thru this forum.(remove old mattress...cut it up with bolt cutters!)lol Everyone is very knowledgable and helpful. I love all the pictures everyone posts to show the mods on theirs units. Anyone know where I can get the matching quilt for our decor?? Happy 4th of July !!

Thanks for the welcome Eagle. So far we have taken a couple of days to stay at our Son's house to babysit, we love this "lil' home"...and so does our Grandson and Grandaughter! Looking forward to several days at a campground to fully enjoy it. DH has begun some minor modifications...just to make it our own..
