Default Hi from Palm Beach County, FL

Good morning, good people,

We are planning to buy our first RV (we are looking at a FF XT-245 toy hauler) in a month or two.
We sold our last boat some 10 years ago, after 35 years of sailing, and we discovered a new passion: riding our Harleys across the country. Three years ago we went to Sturgis SD from Palm Beach County, FL 2500 miles one way mostly by two lane roads. It was the adventure of a lifetime.
Some of our motorcycle club friends convinced us that a Toy Hauler would really extend our range - I just turned 70 and my wife had an open heart surgery in February, so long bike trips are over.

We initially looked at the XT-275, but considring the bikes will be out when we get to our destination, it seemed a waste of space, money and weight (we plan to tow with a Chevy "Avalanche".

So, we are looking very seriously at 3 XT-245.

That's our story and we are sticking to it .

I know I will be back soon on this forum with many questions !!!

jf

Are you sure you have the right forum. This forum is dedicated to mostly people who have Fun Finder X travel trailers manufactured by Cruiserv.com
They don't have the models you mentioned nor do they make a toy hauler.
I have seen other trailers on the road with Fun Finder on them and they appear to be larger travel trailers, but I don't know the manufacture.

Cruiser RV's toyhaulers are called the Funfinder Xtra vs. the Funfinder X travel trailer. They make several different lenghts including the 245. So I'd say you've found the right forum.
