Default New from Iowa

We purchased a 2010 Fun Finder Xtra-275 Toy Hauler last year & have only used it four times on very short trips to some races in our area. We promoted our local dirt track for seven years & still help out some but we enjoy going to races we don't have to work at. We love this trailer & being able to drive the 4-wheeler in the back is great. As soon as I figure out how to pack it efficiently I will be much happier as we've never been camping before now. I'm glad I found this site & will probably be throwing some dumb questions your way, so please bare with me

Welcome! There are no dumb questions here, so ask away! Someone will know the answer from experience or will give ideas on where to find them!

Welcome aboard.

I hope you enjoy your XT 275 Toy Hauler as much as I enjoy my XT 276 Toy Hauler.

PS: There are no 'dumb' questions...only 'dumb' answers!

One important tip for loading a toy hauler -- make sure you have enough tongue weight. If there is a lot of heavy equipment in the back, the tongue can get light, which leads to sway problems. Other than filling the fresh water tank, I am not sure how one would compensate for the extra weight in the back.

There is a Toy Hauler forum over on rv.net -- there are lots of very knowledgeable folks over there. Many of them are grumpy. You just have to put up with the bad attitude in exchange for some good info. (Sigh.) This forum is much more polite!
