Default New guy here. T189 FBR. 2004

Just bought a 2004 T-189 FBR have a lot to learn. I just got it home and starting to learn how to turn on things like the heat, and the refrigerator. I am in the process of ripping out the table area and replacing it with a Small sofa that folds out to a bed. Let’s see how it goes.....😀

hi! Welcome to the group! Lots of knowledgeable folks here, and great ideas. You might enjoy looking through my blog I have a ton of ideas, we have had a 189 FB are since 2007 and I have totally modded it to be exactly what we want. One of the things I did was removed the dinette just like you're doing. I don't know how you going to fit a bed in there though LOL.

Looking forward to see what else you do with your Fun Finder!

Dyna, let us know how the project is going -- sofa, so good, right? (Insert eye roll emoji for bad pun.) . Perhaps I should have couched that in different terms . . . .

By the way, where are you located -- Davenport, perhaps??

OK, I will stop. Sorry.

Default My location and the modifications

I am in Conyers GA. The dinete has been removed an a futon put in its place. I am in the process now of mounting the TV to a swing arm so it can be seen from everywhere and also clearing up the space it took near the bathroom. I hung it from the wall beside the stove. I will post pictures soon so you can get an idea of my though process. I have and will make mistakes along the way. This is my first camper but I am seasoned at modifications to almost everything

Welcome! We're between Woodstock and Alpharetta, a little bit north of y'all.
Good luck with the remodels. We've redone a few things on ours to better suit our way of camping. We really like our little rig and use it a lot.
We'll have to arrange a camp-in next spring. Maybe up around Hiawassee or someplace. We could swap stories, compare notes and burn some firewood....
