Default New to us Shadow Cruiser

The SO and I just picked up our "new" 2013 Shadow Cruiser 260BHS on Saturday. It's a significant upgrade over the old 2002 Bobcat by Keystone that I had to do a complete rubber roof replacement on.

We're really impressed with the layout and features of this thing, however the nitpicker in me already found a few things i'd want to fix/upgrade. Looking forward to getting tips and helping others in this forum!

-Cal

Sounds like a fun challenge so ask any questions you may have.

Lots of experienced camper owners here who enjoy sharing information.

And 'SO' means???

Ok, got it. Not up on the shorcuts used these days......don't do facebrag or any of those 'socializing' things in the net.

Hey, Eagle you can keep that snow! Winds here in Kansas are trying to bring it our way by blowing straight from the north with gusts over 30 MPH! We need moisture, but I'm not ready for the snow, yet!

It rained a bit this AM and turned to snow this afternoon but has quit. It didn't amount to squat, maybe an inch is all so no big deal.

Actually, it's collusion between the grocery stores and weather station to suck people in to get bread and milk.

I avoid ice melt and use fertilizer with a high nitrogen content instead that tends to work fairly well.

Adult beverage = coffee; hot and black in a cup is super and more so on a cold day.

You guys should visit Fla, if we get any winter, wait a few days, it'll go away. 32 one morning, 70 by the afternoon. Never really winterize the RV.

Hi Chief. Thanks for the invite but must decline. Been to Florida twice around October. Far to hot and humid IMO and reminded me of the year I spent in S.E.Asia mid '60's.

The weather in Florida is not for me but understand some do like it.

I really enjoy the changing seasons .. spring, summer (if not to hot), fall and winter so one is never bored.

We usually make a Florida run about every other month or so. We have family in OB/Daytona. May be heading down for Christmas.
Yes, it can be hot there .... but it's a wet heat..........

Won't have to visit, my wife and I just bought a second home in Leesburg Florida. We will be living there during the winter (November to May) and we will spend the summers in Kalamazoo Michigan.

Well it looks like we will be pretty close because my house is directly south in the Highland Lakes community. We plan to leave out FF in Michigan for the winter but might bring it down next year.
