Lolead, my bet is you're going to love the slideout room in your trailer. I really does transform the inside in nicely usable ways. Have fun with the new trailer !

Lolead, never apologize for asking questions -- us old guys are happy to answer, and (speaking for myself) I often learn a lot from the discussions that result from the questions.

As of yesterday we are officially members of the Cruiser RV family. For just a bit more background on myself and my DW. I retired 4 years ago after nearly b40 years in a large automotive dealership collision repair shop. I painted my first car 0ver 50 years ago. I have built several custom cars and hot rods, one of which was featured in a couple of national magazines a few years ago. I will always have a small "back yard" shop as long as I am able to do the work. I LOVE my profession !!!! My wife retired 8 years ago after 30 plus years in financial management. She had a REAL job ! We hope to have many years enjoying our new rv and friends here.

Dave,
You're going to love the camper, I'm sure. With your background knowing to build and fix things, any issues that come up with the camper will be easy and likely enjoyable work for you. My bet is, you're going to immediately start doing things to this trailer to mod it to your needs and desired way of using things....so have fun and safe travels to you. And congrats to both of you on retirement.
