Default Pickin' er up Thursday!

First, thanks for all the advice, encouragement and education.
We pick up the X13 this week, got a brake controller for Mother's Day! Have been plotting future escapes online and reading reading reading trailer forums.

7/6 we head to Michigan - Port Crescent, Bay City, East Tawas. Hopefully those MI State Parks are as nice as the ones on the western side where we went a few years ago?

Congrat on your trailer. I am sure you will have lots of fun times in it. I never thought the topic in my house would be making sure there are dump stations wherever I travel!! I love my 189FDS just wish I did not panic when I back up, and could get it on the first ten trys.

Default Maiden Voyage

Took my first outing last week and all went well. I like this little bugger!

Had to go back to the dealer for huge leakage at bottom of front window. Still need serious practice backing up!! Escaped back home just as the campground was filling up for the holiday weekend.

Raining like crazy today in Ohio and I STILL have a drippy window? MORE caulk applied to the bottom seal.......

Tip for backing up
hold the wheel from the bottom
You want the trialer to go right move your hand right(wheel acually goes left)
Dont angle to much.
If needed pull up to reset and try again.
If you go slowly its a snap.

Thanks for the tips for backing up. I will definitely try this next time out! More caulk seems to have solved the drip so all systems are now GO!
