Default Roof repair

We own a 139 2007 Funfinder. We just finished traveling Route 66, Chicago to Santa Monica and then back home to Quebec Canada. FANTASTIC! We now have a problem with the roof sagging around the air conditioner unit. I suspect the trusses are now compromised. Our dealer wants a fortune to repair this. How do I go about doing it myself?

If it were me (not that I've done it before) I would removed the A/C unit and look at the area between the ceiling and the roof to see what is causing the roof sag.
That will reveal the problem and then one can determine if capable of correcting it.

Repair Update: We finally went to another repair shop. Repair is third of the price. The man feels that there isn't too much damage. Just needs reinforcement but that the whole top needs replacing and in doing so will give it a great guarantee. Thank goodness. I really love my Funfinder. Looking forward to having fun again next year.

Cool Beans! Glad for y'all that it's working out.
The top on ours has been replaced/reinforced with thicker decking.

Great news for you.
For repair work and many other things like insurance, always best to get several detailed estimates from a few places and have a written contract spelling out specifically what will be fixed and the guarantee BEFORE authorizing the work.
Don't ask how I know this.
