Rus, your rig looks great! That's the color truck I wanted rather than silver. Since we have very similar RAMs, I'm curious if you have weighed your hitched rig ready to roll? Since your trailer is a bit larger than ours, I wondered?

Reason I ask is that we were really looking at weights (and lengths) very hard when we bought last year. Wanted a shorter trailer so we could get into the Forest, State Parks, Natl Parks and Canadian Provincial & Natl Parks we like to visit. Weight because our previous TV was a Dakota that pulled like a son of a gun, but we were 1000 lbs+ over the GCVW for the rig.

Our weights last year, fully loaded to travel were 3450 front axle; 4100 rear; trailer (both axles) 5200; and I know the tongue weight was around between 800-900 lbs. (measured that separately before leaving the house) . That makes the trailer GVW at around 6000-6100 including the tongue, which makes the trailer about maxed and the TV well within the Towing range of 8500 and the GCVW good at 12,750. But with only 200lbs to spare! Of course, we carry a lot of stuff in the truck bed and have a hard-shell tonneau cover. Hope you get out and have some fun it it this summer! Really like those floor plans, but that extra 8-9 feet just won't do if for us!

x2 Rus ! Rig looks great. So much fun to be had.
By the way, if you want your image to show in the post, go in and edit it, and use:

at the end of it.

( instead of using )
