Default 120v water heater indicator

After leaving the water heater on for the last 90 days, I decided to add a indicator to show the breaker is turned on. I usually turn the breaker off, rather than flip the switch inside the water heater.

Hummmm. Now that I think about it, I've never once used the electric to heat the water, just use gas. Heck, I don't even know if the electric option works! LOL
I was going to use it once but the little hairpin to pull out of the switch looked like a bear to put back in so didn't bother.

I've never used the electric either. For us, we just don't use the much hot water so it's no big deal to turn it on when we need it to wash dishes or shower and then just shut it off,

That is exactly what we do. No sense in keeping water hot when not needing any. Besides, using gas, the water is hot in 10-15 minutes.
