Default Awning Alert !!!!

I have a 2014 210 UDS. My electric awning is mounted with 4 bolt plates on either end at the top. The bottom mounting plate has 2 bolts on eather end.

I found 6 on the 8 top mounting bolts stripped. These are 1/4"dia X 3/4" long lag screws.

So only one bolt on each end at the top was holding this heavy awning.
The lag bolts go through the about 3/16" fiberglass sheeting and the thin plywood backing. The one lag screw on each end that is holding, I think, goes through a metal stud.

So, what is the solution to fix these loose 3/4" lag screws?
What I think I will do is remove the stripped lag screws and drill 1/4" hole completely through the wall, use stainless steel 1/4" by 2" bolts, a fender washer on the inside wall secured with a stainless locknut. The washer, bolt end and locknut will be, on my unit, high up the wall near the ceiling and not very noticeable.
I emailed customer service over a week ago about the problem and have had no answer.
The two bottom lag screws on eather end seem to be tight.
Comments? What do you think?

Your corrective action seems logical to me.
