Default Axle flip

Has any one tried to do an axle flip on a 189 or bigger fun finder Im toying with the idea and adding a double step like the newer models have but ive been reading that some builders use a cambered axle. Which would make this task a B**ch.

if your axle is a non torsion axle and just a straight axle its usually easy. cambered typically does not matter as your not "flipping" the axle your only moving it to the under side of the leaf spring thus the camber stays the same. To complete this you need new u bolts, nuts, new saddles (they need to be welded to the axle). Thats about it other then tools, floorjacks, welder.
good luck.
