Apparently you can only post 3 pics at a time, so here are the bed pics.

I like it! We considered doing something similar with ours if we kept it but more than likely we are going to move up to a bigger trailer. Do you have a pass-through at the front of your trailer?

And outside storage compartment that goes from one side through to the other side - usually at the very front of the trailer and under the front part of the bed.
Did you put in the wallpaper border or did it come with the trailer?

No, we don't have a pass through. Storage compartment on passenger side front, water tank & water heater drive's side front. Large, ahward to get to storage in center under bed. We chose to lose a bit of storage for a more open & functional layout. The border was there when we bought it. The interior needs a good cleaning, but I want to get all the construction done first.

The pass thru is the storage area under the bed that is externally accessible from both sides. Also on my 189fbr the water pump and hot water tank are located on the left side on the other side of the kitchenette wall. Is your located in the same area?

Mine is the same as yours. Welose a little storage, but my wife being able to use the original dinette area to sleep is well worth it

I like the way you designed the slide out/slide together section in the middle. Very ingenious indeed.

Ok but still a neat idea and great application.

I totally love this!! I think think this would be such a great change to my fun finder!! since it's not selling I might just have to make the changes sooner vs later. I do have my electric how water plug in up where this would be so I'd have to leave the access under there. I wonder if a tri slide would be an option, where 3 sections connect to allow max extention all the way to the end. I would just need to cover one cushion in mine then for seating and then just toss that to the side when I make the full bed that would have been used in place of the table. Great job and way to inspire!!!

What depth did you use for seat? I think your bed might be bigger than mine and maybe I just make mine a little longer slats and then it'll extend the whole way, I am really loving this option, I saw one where they hinged the back so it could be lifted up to be accessed, I like that idea too.

I made the sliding bench (which would be the seat when in the closed position) 22" and the fixed bench 20". That gives me a total flat surface area of 42" to use if necessary. A normal twin bed is 38", so I can pad the backrest up to 4" without losing bed space. I've seen the hinged set ups, they are a good idea. I went with a fixed frame because of the curve of the front of the trailer. I'm re-using the door that was on the end panel of the original bed set up, so I'll still have access to a bit of storage.
