Default Cover for the stove top

Folks,
Has anyone found something nice that will fit nicely over the stove top so you have more counter space?
Thanks,
Ed

There are several good choices online at Camping World. In fact I think I have decided to order the Decor-Mate Stove Topper.

I made mine with a piece of plywood and put little 'feet' on the bottom to hold it above the burners slightly. Stained it Cherry Wood like the cupboards and it looks great. Wife loves it too.

Default Stove cover

If you live or travel anywhere near an Ikea, they have a large wooden cutting board that has a lip on one edge. I picked up one of these a couple of years ago and use it upside down (there's a channel for juices on the regular side) so the lip extends down over the back of the stovetop and doesn't slide forward. It covers all of the stove top and the best part is it costs $10!

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to post my solution. I read that a food tray is an important and highly used accessory in a camp trailer. So we made a burner cover that acts as a cutting board or counter space, and when removed and flipped over it has 2" sides and acts as a food tray to haul stuff outside or keep things from rolling around on our table.

Cool! I've been looking for one, but keep forgetting to take measurements! Also, hard to find a serving tray that doubles as a cutting board in regular stores, like Target and WalMart.

I would also order one of these if you were to make them to sell.

Beautiful job! I am presently using an Ikea shelf I had laying around. (chipboard and Formica yuck) your solution is beautiful and useful! My favorite combination!

For the stove top, we covered the whole area ( stove top and sink) with one big piece of counter top. They come off in 2 pieces and rest on our bed when on the road and when not in use. We have now tons of counter space. Its so nice to load and unload the fridge next to it also.
