Default Electrical emergency avoided.

Two weeks before we go on a 2+ week camping trip and discovered that I wasn't getting power from the battery. First thought was the 1 year old battery crapped out. Slapped the battery charger on it and found it nearly fully charged. I next thought it was the main pull switch, so I removed the inline fuse at the battery and jumped it with a volt meter. Pulled out the switch and the meter gave me 13.8 volts, pushed in the switch and the meter was zero. Looked at the fuse and It looked pretty corroded. Reinstalled it and power was restored. Wiggled the fuse, power was back off. Put in a new 25 amp fuse and problem is resolved, but I will probably want to replace fuse holder soon.

Glad you figured that out. We're heading for the UP for 10 days on the 11th. Where are you going?

We stayed at Tequamenon Rivermouth last year. Beautiful. We like Wilderness a lot. We camped there earlier in the summer. The roads leading to it are horrendous. The Road Commission said they are fixing part of Cecil Bay Rd. It split the corner of our RV wide open. Paul had days of work to fix it.
Orchard Beach is where we dump sometimes. We like Platte River at the bottom of Sleeping Bear. Here is our schedule.
...............
US
Petoskey 9/11-13
Fayette State Park 9/13-15
Munising Tourist Park 9/15-17
Boondog Paul cousin in Alberta one night
Twin Lakes State Park 9/18-20
Castle Rock Campground 9/20-21
Home 21st.
-----
Platte River -sleeping Bear 10/9-11
Leelenau State Park 10/24-26
