Entertainment Center Brand Remote
I have a 2008 189FDR. It is all original equipment. It has a Radio/DVD/CD player mounted in it that is connected to the TV. I need to obtain a remote for it BUT there is NO brand name on the thing.
Today I bought a universal remote. It works great with the TV but I cannot get it to work with the DVD play. Does anyone know the Brand Name of this unit?
If I had the brand name, it might help me get the universal remote to work or find a new remote.

That Q logo in the center looks familiar but I can't quite come up with a name. You might have to pull it out and see if there is a label with more info on the back.

The main brands are iRV and Furrion but this doesn't look like either oi those. I'd suggest sliding it out and look for a brand and model on the chassis.

I have not tried too hard yet, but my first attempts to slide it out resulted in failure. It seems to be pretty firmly attached.

The front fascia on mine (albeit a different brand) pops off to leave a chassis which has 4 screws to the wood panel.

The brand name is Quest. The model number is QX-3202DVD. If you Google the model number and select a match with remote, several will come up. Remotes.com seemed to have the best deal, but I would search further. Maybe even E-Bay for a used one. I have the owners manual and original remote with my trailer. If you need pics or have other questions.

I finally managed to pull it out and as stated by a previous poster, it is indeed a Quest. My Universal remote does not seem to work with it. My remote is an RCA and it does not list a Quest. I will have to manually go through every code to get it to work and then it still may not be possible....don't know.
Is the Quest sold under any other name?

If you really need a remote, you might just need to swap the thing out.

You might keep in mind a replacement remote is available at www.remotes.com. I mentioned that in my original reply. Just in case you are considering anything more expensive than that. Just use the model number I gave you.
