Default How to repair window pleated shades???

How do I repair the cordless pleated shades so that they stay in the open or partially open position? Some of ours are so loose that they just slowly fall to be fully closed. On Amazon I noticed that some brands use springs to create the friction. What brand of shade did FunFinder use?
Thanks!

Cordless.?I have cords that run thru the pleat from top to bottom ..I had to replace the cords on two of mine..found that a spring is in the top frame for tension and a anchor screw for the end of the cord..if this is the brand you have by adjusting the cord adding more tension , will give you more friction and Shades stay up...hope this works..

Sorry for the confusion. Mine sound like yours. By cordless I meant there was no cord to pull on.

Did you ever get your pleated shades to stay up or did you end up just replacing them? I am having the same problem and BroDeans reply to you did not make sense. Thank you!

What he said is you can adjust the tension by pulling more cord through the plastic bas on the screw on the wall. You may be able to tighten them a bit by simply loosening the screw and twisting the plastic disc a bit to tighten the cord.
