Good plan. We are fortunate to have replaceable black strip around ours.

Or maybe even just a nylon scrub pad and a quart of elbow grease?? Give it a shot and let us know!

I tried a bleach based cleaner and a rag which didn't do much. I need a dry Saturday to get out there and experiment. Next up will be straight bleach and a Scotch Brite pad.

I have the same problem. The seals around the side windows have tiny black specks covering them. The specks seem to be embedded in the rubber. It's not mold but I've no idea what it is. Steel wool (0000 grade) and some 303 is my next try.

Here are some suggestions from the internet. Some say they have success.
