Default Is there a way to restore a yellowing shower?

I looked online for a replacement surround and they are pretty pricey, over $300 for one with good reviews. Mine isn't damaged, just yellowing under the skylight. I've tried everything to lighten it and nothing works. I wondered about spray paint for plastic even. It wouldn't be so bad if the tub yellowed too, but it and the little white buttons holding the surround in place are all still white.

Hi, I don't get on this forum very often so I missed your question. Here is how I fixed mine, twenty bucks and you've got a brand new shower and it goes all the way to the ceiling so the water can't get behind it. It's really simple job you don't even have to really put the blocks of wood in the corner behind it like I did. You can just curve it from one wall to the other and glue it. I just use plain old adhesive caulk and it worked fine but it did make it kind of wavy. You could do a better job with the glue. I am happy with the way it turned out. I did end up having to put stainless steel screws along the edges, but I haven't had a single problem since I did it.

Let me know if you use this idea!
