Default Latest Mods 2015 214wsd

Hi everyone here are some picts. of the latest mods.
This is a new group 27 battery box.

This is where the 214 lives most of the time( Hope to change that once we retire)

This is the new 5"x5" bumper that I built to house the sewer hose. It added about 20#.

Added a receiver to the bumper also.

We are taking our first week long trip at the end of April. Heading to the north GA mountains.

Looks good!

I do long trips in the summer, with lots of miles. (Think one big coast-to-coast lap of the country every summer.) At least early on, I'm going to do practical stuff.

• New (higher-quality) tires. I've had good luck with Goodyears.
• Upgrade the shackles on the leaf springs to some heavy-duty units with wet bolts for ease of maintenance.
• Mattress upgrade.
• Maxxfan ventilator.

RVN ~ very well done and nice looking mods.

guybmoto ~ one of the 1st mods I did was replace the factory mattress (if you an call it that) with a Serta (I think that was the brand) from a furniture store.

Looks good! I like your new bumper and battery box. Your trailer is a beauty.
Great that you have inside storage.
Guy motto-we have already purchased a new 8" thick gel infused memory mattress to replace the scary one in our new "used" trailer. Only downside is that it weighs about 65#.
