Default Lift problems

If the camper battery is dead should the tow truck battery be able to operate the lift hitch.

If the 12v accessory wire from the 7 pin plug from you tow vehicle has power. Maybe. Those wires are usually pretty small and wont be able to carry enough power to power the tongue jack. You may be able to plug into the tow vehicle and run it for 15 minutes to charge the battery enough to run the jack. Or just turn the TV around and use jumper cables from the TV battery to the trailer battery.

Last ditch effort is most electric jacks have a hand crank for backup.

Agreed, what he said.

One trick (if your desperate) is to run jumper cables from truck battery to trailer battery- that will feed enough Amps to get it working. Works for slideouts also.
