Default Mod : Repurposing the TV shelf into 2 Shelves

2011 Shadow Cruiser 18.5 : TV shelf remodelled. We took out the TV switch and the plug that was there and moved all those cables over into the radio area to the left of there. Opened up the walls, gained 5 “ of usable space towards the back wall of the trailer and also opened up the space to the right hand side, to maximize all the wasted space here. Added a shelf. Doubled our space here ! Win !

We plan to add a door to this space, in the near future. As we are planning to do a few more major mods involving more doors we need to buy, we are holding off on this door for now.

Pic 1 : the Before pic - the day we bought the trailer TV shelf is one big open shelf on the top of the clothes hanging closet.
Pic 2 : The before - TV and electrical wires
Pic 3 : There is 5 " of usable space behind that back wall
Pic 4 : Dealing with the electrical and opening up the left wall
Pic 5: Re routing the electrical cables so that they now run underneath the shelf, instead of on top of the shelf where it used to be
Pic 6:Some electrical cables go straight up through the roof, we give them some spray foam
Pic 7 :Right hand side back corner we covered up the wires going up through the roof with plywood.
Pic 9 : Left hand wall showing the electrical cables now running underneath the shelf.
