hey everybody. Thanks for all the replies. I'll probably look for a new shower head with a cutoff. That seems like the easiest way to go instead of looking for valve and try to make it fit. didnt even know they made shower heads that could be turned off.

It can be done. If it was me I would get a outside shower assembly and mount it under the sink on the shower side (if there is room) and plumb it in. Home depot and lowes have push together fitting that you could use to "T" into your hot and cold to connect the new shower faucet. I used them in my camper and they have worked really good. No special tools needed to use them. One brand is called "Shark Bites" they are more expensive then the ones I used and need a special tool to take them apart.
