Default Question about using the AC on my unit and Microwave

Took my few years old Fun Finder 189 camping the past weekend and could not get the AC or Microwave to turn on... Do I need to be plugged in to an RV electrical source or should it work off of battery power? What troubleshooting steps should I look at first?

many thanks in advance!

You will need shorepower for both Micro and A/C. Definitely 30 amp for the A/C or you will burn it out on 15 amp.

Thanks for the reply and input! What does it mean that it would "burn out on 15 amp?"

If there isn't enough amps, wouldn't it trip off the breaker to prevent damage to the AC?

I thought the way circuit breaker works is to "trip" in case there is too much current or overvoltage?
