Radio need powered antenna?

I just got rid of my jensen antenna and replaced it with the wineguard sensor 4. When switching out the powered outlet, I noticed the radio was connected to the old one.

The winegard doesnt have an out for a radio. Do I need this? Has anyone dealt with this.

BTW huge upgrade in replacing this equipment. Went from nothing to over 30 stations. Think there may have been an issue with the powered receptacle on the old one.

GREATLY increased TV reception so a super investment and very pleased.

Can't comment on the radio as never use it, turned it on once to see if it worked and never since.
