Default screen door plastic

I prefer to have my main door open most of the daylight hours to let more light in. Cold weather or hot, I like to have it open, especially in the early AM if I got lucky and have a that side facing east..

Really don't care about using the screen door as a screen. I installed 1/16" plexiglass ( acrylic plastic ) in the bottom and top sections. Hard to see in this picture, but you get the idea. There is a slot in the door frame that seems to be for exactly this purpose. The top piece is a little tricky because of the radius, but slow careful work with a cut-off wheel in the dremel tool got me the needed curve.

Looks great! I would like something like that, but I'm afraid our fur baby would bark at EVERYTHING and EVERYONE that walks, crawls, runs by!

LOL...if my dog can't see out the door, she gets up on the bed to see out ! gotta protect the old human from all that passes by......

That's part of why I like this trailer, front window and windows at each end of the bed. It gives the dog a great view of 'da 'hood all day

Well, when we were in S. Dakota, DH forgot to put the blinds up by the bed and Salvi chewed them up! He couldn't view da "hood" either. They weren't too bad, and I had some material that had all the National Parks and campers so I made curtains to cover up the blinds! They look rather good if I do say so myself!
