Your right Michigantraveler, my first 5 th wheel had a 30 gal for the galley (Kitchen ) a 40 gal for the bathroom and shower and a 40 gal for the black water. I only had a 40 gal fresh tank so I placed a 60 gallon plastic loaf tank in the pick up box ahead of the 5th wheel hitch. I used to get looks when I would wash my truck and trailer while dry camping. If needed I would top up the tank in the back of the truck and it would gravity feed the trailer tank.

Cool system!! Our new "old" fifth wheel has bigger tanks than the FF did, but almost less outside storage. I guess people didn't carry as much stuff around in the mid 90's.

Well I just checked my 2010 FF 189FBR. The bathroom sink, shower and kitchen sink all empty into the GRAY water tank. Only the toilet empties into the BLACK water tank.

Yes, our 189 was plumbed the conventional way as well.
