Default Slide Out Lube

Hi,

This is the first RV I've had with a slide out. I've purchased Protect All Slide Out Dry Lube. The instructions on the can do not tell you what to use it on. This might be a dumb question (I always tell everyone no question is dumb) but do I use this on the metal strips on the top and bottom of the sides of the slide?

Thanks!
Rob

I bought a seal protectant from the dealer. All I do is spray it heavily all over the rubber seals, top, sides and bottom. Its a foam that breaks down to a liquid. Seems to work pretty good as it cut down on all the squeaking and crackling sounds I had before using it. I sprayed a silicon lubricant on the plastic rollers on the bottom as well.

I also bought the spray for the rubber seals. The Slide Out Dry Lube is suppose lubricate the slide and keep the metals parts from rusting.

Hmm my track parts are aluminum don't see that rusting. The shell is metal but paint coated good. I don't keep the slide open except when we are camping in storage its always closed.
