Default SmartTiles - 189FBS

Here is a shot of my SmartTile installation.

You can check out their product here:

http://www.thesmarttiles.com/en_us/

The tile I used was in their clearance section so the whole thing only cost around $50 with shipping. They aren't real glass tiles and I would never use them in my house, but they are super light and pretty durable so I think they will be they are better than just the wall board.

It was pretty easy to install with the exception of the round cuts around the window. Nothing is level in a TT, so I worked from the bottom up using the counter as my visual level and worked out pretty good. You can see on the right where the tiles meets the door trim that the pattern runs on a slight angle, but its not too bad.

Yet another great mod! These look great - certainly better than the faux decal that the FunFinder has from the factory.

My wife will want to look at this!

I ordered our Smart Tiles today for our kitchen walls. I'm only going two sheets high on the three sides. That will be partly up the window but under the gauges. So I need 20 tiles. The pattern is on sale but not as inexpensive as yours was. $107 shipped with volume discount. I forgot to order their edging. Onward.

Excellent - Take some photos and post when you are done!

I was lucky - mine were on super clearance - the cheapest ones on the site. Interestingly you can still get them. When I bought them they were marked Clearance and not Sale and I seem to recall them being about $2 - $3 each. Hopefully that means they will still stock them.

You did get a great deal! I am trying to match some fabric I want for the dinette. So I was happy not to pay full price. I ordered the edging tonight. I think it will be a while before I install them since it is still so cold here. The first thing we will be doing is cleaning since it's a used unit and new to us. And I want to make sure the wall surface is really clean so they will stick well. I hope our installation looks as nice as yours. Yours are $3.99 now. Lower than the big box stores.

It depends on what style you get - interlocked or plain square. The ones I put on were plain square and were 9.85" x 9.85".

Thanks Ed and I found them on the Home Depot web site and noticed the size of each sheet varies with the style.
