How many panels/watts are you using?
How are you mounting them ?
I was thinking of buying the harbor freight 3 panel kit 15W X 3 =45 watts
total.its inexpensive on sale coupon $139.99.

How are you mounting the panels so there secure at highway speeds ?

Those panels look small for 145W each,
Where did you get them
Please list total cost of install.
The similar sise ones I saw were 3 15W panels that together where about same size as yours maybe bigger = 45W

Very nice! How much will you be able to run off the panels themselves?

AMSolar has some nice 150 watt panels for about $299 each. That's what I'm leaning towards when I finally add a pair of panels to our new 266KIRB.

Wow, nice work. I'm thinking of adding something similar to mine, but may wait until the end of this summer. When I'm traveling full-time, they stay well-charged. It's just when I'm parked that I'd like to have them charged enough to run the water pump, lights (I like the LED replacements), and fridge.

Nice install. I didn't take photos along the way. Put my solar charger behind the microwave. Put the charger and inverter displays next to the master panel for lights, tank levels etc. Put the outback dc inverter in the cubby. Bought a 8D box for 4 RV batteries, mounted on the hitch behind the propane tank.
I ended up with 4 flexible panels, take up most of the roof but you can walk on them and they're only 1/8-inch thick.
Keep receipts - you might be able to deduct the costs from your 2013 taxes!

Impressive install. Did you find drop in LED replacement bulbs? Please, share part #/link if you did. I'd love to replace all of the lights inside with LED to make the battery last a couple of nights.
