Default Strap your TV down.

I had to take our 07 FF in to get a few items taken care of and from our house to the dealership is about 18 miles. On the way there I hit some road construction and both our truck and camper hit quite a dippy-dupe in the road. When we arrived at the dealership what was left of my CRT TV was on the floor.

We did intend on replacing it with an LCD TV on a swing arm, but not quite so soon. Lesson learned, just letting it sit on a shelf with a small lip on that shelf is NOT enough to keep it from bouncing onto the floor.

I spent several years transporting mobile homes before getting my toy hauler so very well aware of being sure everything is secure BEFORE hooking onto the tow vehicle.

AS they say, 'education can be expensive'

Default Straps

I use steel plumbing straps to hold down my microwave. It is not pretty but it works! These are the straps you'd use to fasten a water heater to the wall in case of earthquakes.
