Default Suburban oven won't light properly.

Okay, please bear with me, I don't have the correct terminology.
When I light the oven, the pilot lights fine. Then when I set my control to 350 degrees, the propane does not travel down the tube to make the small little fires on each side of the tube. It stays in the back like a little ball of fire. Now maybe, I did a dumb thing. I had brownies spill all over the oven and to get it clean, I had to pull out the porcelain tray and clean it. The tube was hooked to the bottom of this tray by one screw. I unscrewed this and pulled out the tray, cleaned it, and put it back together. Could I of done something? Can anyone help me? Sorry, Dumb woman!!
