Default T.V. issues

Hello
2009 x210 here. We are trying to use the tv...with a movie stick plugged in the usb port..no luck...movie stick usb works great on other tv's.
So if i replace this tv...can it just be a regular smart tv or does it have to be 12v or something special for the trailer?
Thank you soo much!
Angi

Our 2015 210uds has a regular 120 v house TV in it. I am sure yours is the same, check the powered source cord, it should be normal house hold/shore power plug. Silverado

There are 12V TVs available, but from what I've heard they are expensive. Unless you plan on watching TV when you're camping without shore power it's probably not worth it. Our trailer came with a plain 120V TV brand new so no reason a normal house smart TV won't work.

I bought one of these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YWQHUW...ding=UTF8&th=1 It is nice to have a 12v TV when camping with no hookups. The prices aren't too bad.

That's the same one I was looking at. I think the model number that is -1912 is the AC only version.

I got the 19" it is 12v ready. Maybe the bigger ones cannot do 12v.

Since it is hard to trust tech specs on the internet, can you measure the height and width of your tv?

I sure can. I am sure the specs match what is on the site. That is why I bought it. It fits right in the TV space in my 189 FBR

The height and width of the TV will provide info on space needed to place it. Actual TV size (12" to 80") is a diagional measurement across the screen.

I just bought a new 'normal' tv for our camper. It did originally come with an ac/dc tv, but we never watch tv, probably only 2 times in 10 years (which leads to the question of why would I bother to replace the tv????) anyway, I was all excited because I found a wifi Roku tv at Best Buy for $125. It has a built in roku and wifi receiver, it's really neat. So we've watched it, um . .. . probably twice hahaaha but still, if we wanted to we could!!!

Here's the tv we got - it's hard to find small tvs - this one is 22"x13" (24" diag) and has 3 hdmi inputs! I'm not a fan of Best Buy, but it's the only place I could find one. They sell the larger ones on Amazon & Walmart.

We got the 24" and mounted it at the end of the bed by the stove in our 2018 189FBR. I have a post about how to reinforce the wall invisibly if you're interested.

you guys should check out the, Wondershare" video converter program. super easy to use. you can convert your videos into MP4 format. It will copy movies off you tube also, you can also convert music off you tube and convert it to MP3 fromat. you can store hundreds of movies on a 2T portable hard drive and plug it into your TV thru the USB port or store thousands of songs.

Looks like that TV will work great!

In case anyone is interested in mounting a larger tv at the bed area, I just want to mention that since the cable access comes in there, it is easy to reconfigure the wiring to have both cable and antenna hookups in the bed area without running any new wiring.
