Default Tankless water heater

I'm starting to plan a water heater replacement. Does anyone have experience with the Girard tankless water heater? It looks like a direct replacement.

I was thinking about going with a tankless water heater, but I boondock all the time and figured that the tank type water heater carries a few gallons of water, and a tankless would not, and I need every drop of water I can carry! So I will stay with the tank type. I only run it if I am going to shower, otherwise for washing dishes it is more propane efficient just to heat a pan of water on the stove.
