Default Trailer covers

I'm buying a RV cover from camping world for my Viewfinder and was wondering which ones you'll would recommend for Maryland.

Default ADCO Tyvek covers

I have an ADCO Tyvek cover on mine here in Idaho. I've used the AquaShed on my last 2 trailers, but opted for the Tyvek for the FunFinder. It's too late now, but at the end of the season, ADCO has a sale on site for overstock and you can pick one up for almost 50%.

They last several years if you take care of them, they breathe but keep most of the water off the rig and as long as you keep a moisture absorber in the rig while closed up, you'll never have mold or mildew issues.

Default Trailer Cover

I too purchased an ADCO Tyvek cover. Here in Florida the sun can really destroy the exterior finish and decals. Hopefully, the cover will slow down that process. I will say it is a "pain" to put on (it takes two of us about 45 minutes) but it is better than having no protection at all.

I too purchased an ADCO Tyvek cover I am very disappointed in it. Last year it ripped on the bottom edges. I called & they sent Patch you stick on. This year on it I just went & checked it & the Top is all ripped up & shredding. For the 350.00-400.00 I spent I am extremely disappointed it did not hold up here in PA at all.

Before I got this 5er, I used the Adco covers and my experience(s) showed me that tightness is the one thing you have to maintain in order to get them to hold up well. Any movement of the cover will ruin it in short order and sharp corners will make keeping them tight enough a difficult proposition. Even with them very snug and protected from sharp corners, about 3 or 4 years is the best I've ever gotten out of them.

I do not know how to cover the corners from the cover. How would you do that. I totally understand tight but how does do it.

Default Trailer Covers

I used foam pipe insulation wrap that I cut into small peices and duct taped around the gutters and all sharp corners. Seemed to help to keep the sharp edges from tearing the cover.

Thanks smokejump. I'll have to look at that a little closer next year. I would have hoped for the money. They would re enforce the. Corners. But apparently not
