Default first time hooking up, x 160

Just purchased a 2009 ff x 160, will be towing it with a 2004 toyota 4runner v8, I will be hooking it up for the first time in a couple days, apparently it comes with some type of WD hitch with sway but im not sure of the manufacturer. Ive got a brake controller etc, but it has no propane tank on it currently and is completely empty of gear, Im a little nervous of the lack of tongue weight with these little trailers. I won't be going far, about 20 min to my home but should I head to a hitch dealer to check the setup for me etc, don't have much experience with towing a TT just a small pop up. Was thinking of getting a 30 lbs propane tank to replace the 20 lbs one that is missing, can't think of a good reason not too except for convenience in filling it.

No harm in getting a larger tank.

As long as you keep your speed down, a 20 min ride should not be a problem. But at anything above about 40 mph (60 kph), you probably should make sure to hook up the anti-sway gear properly.

You could add water to the tank to increase tongue weight -- I think the tank is forward of the axle on your trailer.

looks like I have a curt round bar weight distribution hitch, it is the 500/5000 one, has the chains etc. Just wondering how to properly figure out the setup for it, I have a 2004 4 runner v8 and a 2009 FF 160 x trailer. Eyeballing it for the ride how it seemed fairly level when riding but seemed to bounce a fair bit and I sure wasn't happy with the way it felt, glad I was just driving in the city. I have a feeling it was because it was so light on the hitch, water tanks were empty etc.
