Default Towing 189 FDS with V8 Explorer

Any issues towing the 189 FDS with a 03 Ford Explorer 4.5 V8? I had an Eco 18 ft and it pulled pretty good. What about the FF?

Default towing with an Explorer V8

I have a 189 FD and used to tow it with a 6 cyl Toyota 4Runner - no problem. I did more recently upgrade to a newer 4 Runner with a V8 but notice only a little difference. Your explorer should be fine.

Just bought the trailer today. Thanks for the insight. I already have an EQ hitch, not sure if I will need it or not, but I figure since I already have it might as well throw it on there.
