Cool control panel for lights/ tank gauges

Well we had a wonderful week camping with our FF toyhauler. Our first time out.Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me on if the gauges for water tank, grey tank etc work properly in your unit or if malfunctioning is the norm.

The gauges on most trailers are useless -- I don't know why. There are expensive after-market devices. Our battery sensor works ok, but who cares? We use a voltmeter to check it. Our fresh water sensor is crude but semi accurate. Our black and gray sensors are useless.

You might check the wire connections to the sensors on the tanks. I discovered mine were loose. After tightening the wire connections (just a screw) they are pretty accurate.

Ours didn't work, and were loose, as Eagle suggested. I took the opportunity to upgrade to some https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Horst Miracle Probes.

I also studied the SeeLevel device @ https://www.garnetinstruments.com/rv-shop/. The SeeLevel product is probably better, but I just don't need to know to the exact gallon how much is in my tanks.

To keep the sensors clean, I add a couple of ounces of tank treatment and enough water to slosh around after I dump. So far, it's all good.
