Value of my t139?
We have had a Fun Finder T-139 for a couple years. It has been awesome. We absolute love this trailer but are considering trying a different layout for our family.
Any idea what this is worth if we list it for sale? It is a 2005 model with the aluminum siding in great shape (decals peeling). We have added a fixed solar panel, two deep cycle batteries, dual propane, a small lift, new tires, outside shower, a new faucet with more clearance under it for large bowls and a friction stabilizer to keep steady in the wind.
Suggested retail says $11,500. Low is around $5,000 (which is what I assume a bank would loan on it).
Thanks in advance.
Kyle

Gee Kyle, that's a tough question as a lot of variables go into worth. We have an '05 that is fiberglass (wish it was siding) and it'd take a lot more than $5K to get it.
I would start high and negotiate from there. Anyone looking for a small camper and who knows what the 139's are will probably be willing to pay a little more to get one. Every so often, I have noticed, there are people looking specifically for a 139 if you're not in a hurry.
BTW those pics look very nice!!! Don't forget to mention the awning, a lot of small units don't have 'em.

Thanks for the feedback. The awning is in great shape and we use it all the time. There is no leaks or tears that we remember seeing on it.

I am interested. Do you have more pics of the inside? How much are you going to ask? I have been looking for awhile.
Thx!

Thanks for your interest. We are hesitant to sell because we love this thing. I have seen a couple from $8,000-10,000. We haven't decided on an asking price. But it will be below $8,000. We added a new kitchen faucet with higher clearance, an outside shower, new tires and a lift. There are a few add ons that are negotiable. I will try and attach some pics. If the pics don't load, send me a PM and I will send them to you.
Kyle

Some pics.
This doesn't cover all the pics. But should share the condition of the trailer.
Thanks.

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you. Your unit looks like just what I have been looking for the past 6 months or so. When you know what you want to sell it for and when just let me know. How far is Casper from Cheyenne?
Thanks

Casper is about 2 hours North of Cheyenne. Where do you live?

Sounds great. I would be more than willing to meet you part way. We will even probably come to Denver this spring. I will PM you with some more info. Kyle

This is a test....send an email when you get it. I understand you are asking 8000. I can't afford it at that price. 6500 highest I can go.
Let me know if and when you sell it. Thanks

Hey I received this message!!! hahah. I feel like a 110 year old man trying to deal with technology sometimes. I will talk with my wife about $6,500 and get back with you. These things are a blast. What type of vehicle will you be towing with and do you need a hitch or wiring?
I hope this snowstorm isn't ruining your spring vibes.
Kyle

Good glad you got that one!
I currently have a Subaru V6 Legacy and plan on trading it in for a truck. I have a friend who has a truck and will help me get it home if your wife agrees.
Weather hasn't been too bad yet. I can hear the wind starting to crank up now though.
Have a good one!

I think $6500 would be a "steal". You'd be right in asking around $8-9K, but that depends on how fast you want to sell. These small campers are in pretty good demand as they're easily towed by smaller vehicles. Condition of tires might play in that as well. Plus if you're including the usual things a new owner has to buy: water hoses, sewer hoses, electric cable, chocks, leveling blocks, etc. The difference between high and low value is mostly condition and location. If it's never had leaks or repairs it's also more desirable. Many/Most banks don't loan on older/used campers, regardless of value, instead they offer the usual signature loans (no collateral), at higher interest rates.
