Default Bulbs for 21RB

Last question of the night- looking at upgrading the bulbs throughout to LED- any idea where I can find a number or fixture number on the stock light fixtures to cross reference bulbs?

All of the bulbs in my trailer were the standard 921 wedge base bulbs. Not sure if you have the same but you should be able to find equivalent LEDs for whatever bulb style you're fixtures have.

Same with my 2015 FF 210uds. All interior bulbs including the stove vent hood and lights in the front baggage compartment are 921/T10 wedge bulbs. Ordered them on Amazon.ca and have had no issues. Inverter does not start when lights are turned on now using way less power and allot less heat for the air conditioner to overcome. I think they were $40 for the complete interior and left me a couple spares. Silverado

The previous owner of my camper replaced all the lights with LEDs. they are flat and are attached to the light with tape and a short jumper wire goes into the socket. The are really bright.

You shouldn't need to do anything like that anymore.

There are identical replacement bulbs in LED for just about everything now, including those 921 bulbs.

I think these are better. The light goes in one direction, down. The other bulbs give off light in all directions.

These work great.

I bought some off ebay or amazon a year or so ago...led replacements for 921's. Look exactly like the ones' in Silverados post.

I installed them in two fixtures and turned on the lights. I didn't like the light output, removed them & they are laying in a drawer someplace ... maybe in my tool chest in the garage.

So what lights do you use if you did not like the LED type . Did you keep the halogen lights. I find the light with the LED just fine but way less drain on the battery and way cooler when running the air conditioner which is a huge advantage . Halogens are so hot they discolored the light fixtures if left on for long periods of time. Silverado

I don't see which lights you are talking about. Am I missing something? Silverado

I use the ones that came with the camper...none have burned out and none have discolored any fixtures. I am either plugged into shore power or connected to the twin Honda 2000's for power.

Thanks Team d, it cost me $40 Canadian to outfit my whole trailer. These brighter lights would be about $105 Canadian. Good info for others wanting to convert. Silverado

I did the bulb-only replacement and I was not satisfied with the amount and color spectrum of the light output so I simply replaced all my light fixtures with LED fixtures that have the flat panel of multiple LEDs inside and the output is very bright and the right color spectrum. Got them at my local RV dealer.

My personal preference is the round wafer-like LEDs. They direct all the light downwards.
Had good luck with similar bulbs.https://smile.amazon.com/Iandscaping...21+led+bulb+rv

I had replaced just the bulbs wirh led bulbs from two different suppliers and they did not last long, so I replaced the entire fixtures with ones with the flat.panel leds that have a good warm color, got them at my local rv dealer.

For what it's worth, I've been buying my bulbs from m4 -- they are a US-based outfit, with offices in California, and they actually answer questions:

And I've replaced my older LED bulbs with these -- very bright, nice color, easy to install. They come with wedge bases. Kind of expensive, but worth it. Minimal electrical draw:
