Default New tow rig

After years of towing with a Toyota Tacoma, I bumped up to a Toyota Tundra. It's so much better in every way (smoothness, stability, power, etc.) that I wish I'd done this one years ago.

I've got a couple weeks to go before I take off for the summer, and need to work on some tires and wheels, and also some company graphics.

The break-in period? Well, I did make a stop at a trailer place to have the hitch height adjusted, and to add a trailer brake. Other than that, I pretty much hitched up and took it to Las Vegas. Probably not exactly factory-recommended break-in.

Nice set up. There's a lot of theories on break in. I break in all of my cars and motorcycles like I'm going to use them.

My boss owns it, and I do the racing content for it.

Here are a couple shots from last weekend.

Hmm...where to start? I raced BMX as a kid, and turned that into a gig working for BMX Action magazine back in the '80s. From there I've had stints at several different BMX, mountain bike and motocross magazines, and landed here at Vital MX about eight years ago.

I love riding, but spend most of my time on a mountain bike these days.

And yep, I'll drive all the nationals through Washougal, then fly to Unadilla and Indiana, and drive to Utah for the finale. You can find me in the pits at Millville.
