OMG - so much for a "family forum"....

I honestly think that should be removed.

Michelle,

I have no clue how something like that could happen .... there is NO WAY I would EVER do anything like that. Someone must have hacked that post or something like that. I'm shocked, embarrassed and totally blown away that anyone can do that. My sincerest apologies to everyone.

The strange part is that the hacked picture didn't display at first on my screen and I thought your comment was in jest. Then it suddenly appeared and I saw it for the first time. I have never seen that picture before in my life. This is so strange

I was hoping that wasn't you, and I knew for sure after I saw that a spammer got in again.

Your site looks great and so does the weather...we're not too far apart from one another. I'm in a state park in destin FL. Suns feels good, doesn't it?

Hey Michelle,

Yes, the sun is a wonderful thing isn't it The last time we drove through Destin, I noticed a nice RV park right on the beach close to the water ..... are you by chance in that park ?

Darn! I guess I missed all the excitement -- Neil's post looks completely innocent to me -- was there an X rated picture of a Fun Finder without the awning or something? The moderator must have come to the rescue.

We were wondering when you were going to start posting about the trip south. Looks a lot warmer there than here in Maryland. Great Pictures.

Guess we missed the excitement post as well.

Yes, I got to it and deleted it as soon as I saw it (it allowed me to edit the post)

Let's just say it was a semi tasteful study in anatomy yet very much out of place on a forum like this

Yoly and I had a really great time today and got tons of video of a variety of wild life, mostly birds and alligators with a manatee family included. Unfortunately, most of my work was centered around the video camera so my collection of stills for the blog will be much more limited. I still have to download the video and pictures so it may be several hours before I get the blog updated.

Actually Neil got to it before I did. It was already gone when I logged on. Unfortunetly I'm still a working a stiff so I only have time to get on once a day - at least I try to. Seems like the spam comes in waves - quiet for a while and then a bunch. I guess the spammers think we travel trailer types are suckers for golf clubs and Nike's and occasionally Pandora knock-offs.

Looking4fun, where is that? It look like you are boondocking in some remote place. Also, for a 2003 trailer, that is an amazing unit -- it looks to be in perfect condition, which is unusual for an 11 year old trailer, unless it was kept indoors and rarely used.

I wish it was some remote place but it's actually stokes state park in NJ. I like their camp grounds, and been going there for years. I think now having the camper I'm going to be branching out further and finding new places. As for the condition, there has been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into this trailer. Just look at my tread "lots of water damage in ceiling" and you will see what i went through. I think it's on page 2 in the maintenance section. Thanks for the compliments on my camper though!!!!

We've finally moved on from Carrabelle Beach RV Resort and have been staying at some beautiful Florida State Parks. Currently, we have a beautiful site at Lake Griffin State Park here in Florida.

This is the view looking out our dinette window ...

Glimpse of the park ....

I think I made the reservation back in December and at the time, this was the only site avaialble. Many sites are smaller than this and would have been difficult for the FF214, so this was really cool to snag this one

Note: If you check the blog, there are many more pictures

Default Hybrid By The Lake

My Shadow Cruiser hybrid at a lakeside campsite in Pennsylvania. It just doesn't get any better than this.

HarryShoe, that's a beautiful campsite.

Is that a Hornbeck on the roof of your truck?

I'm guessing that you used the "roof boat" to take the photo

Also, it would be nice if you identified the campground for our future reference.

Default Having Fun

This picture was taken at Ricketts Glen State Park in north-central Pennsylvania. An absolutely beautiful campground with some amazing and challenging hiking trails. No water, no electricity, no cell phone coverage. Just perfect.

I take my Old Town Sportsman canoe on most of my camping trips. I enjoy getting out early in the morning for some peaceful canoe fishing.

DW on Lake Jean at Ricketts Glen.
