I did the same thing with an old hitch to get my 276 home from the dealer. I promptly ordered a new Equilizer with sway. Night and day difference. I am also using a Tundra, '10 Double Cab with the tow package and 5.7L engine. Amazing 1/2 ton pickup tow vehicle .
