Any considerations when opening an closing slide outs during a rain storm?

I have never worried about it. Then again, in Arizona how often does it rain?

If you're really worried about it, I guess you could extend the slide when you get home to let it dry for a day or so.

Hopefully others in rainier parts of the country with more experience can chime in if I'm wrong.
