Menards has an 11% off sale on everything all this week ~ again!

Also, Menards does NOT have the 5" tube needed to hold the hose. I had to get mine at Home Depot last year.

Thanks Eagle and GMW,
I'll check and see what they have... Are these post jackets made of PVC; if so, plain old PVC cement would should work on these ... if needed for a different idea??

Yes, the post jackets are white PVC and regular PVC cleaner/cement is the correct product to use.

To fit the 5" square holder, I purchased the 8' long tube, cut it in two and one section of flex sewer drain line w/end will fit in each 4' tube.

Our 215WSK has the 4" bumper... I store 30ft of hose in it with no problems.

You are a lucky lucky loo! I completed the modification to mine and now it has a 5" fence post bumper on the back. Looks and works great.

Default Big Plastic Tub with a Lid

While I have a a square-shaped bumper to store the hose, I really don't like it for two reasons:

1. The end caps keep coming loose. Now this is probably easily fixable, but...
2. When the sewer hose gets jostled towards the middle of the bumper, I have to use a stick to get it out.

So, I just got a rectangular plastic tub from Home Depot. It has a lid. And I put my hose in that.

It makes it easy to get to, and I've noticed no odor problems: likely since I flush out my hose with my gray water prior to storing it.

Then I just put the tub in my storage compartment.

Works like a charm.

Besides dumping the black water tank first and then the grey water tank, I flush my sewer hose with clear water to clean it well.

Simply put this https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39533-S...QABBR8Q8N1JG7Y on one end with the other end in the sewer dump, connect a water hose (NOT used for drinking water) to the adapter and flush for well rinsed/cleaned interior of the sewer hose.

I also cap the ends of the sewer hose with these: https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39753-R...+hose+end+caps to "lock in" any effluent and odor.

Our sensor on the black tank was always reading 2/3 after a couple day's use and 1/3 after emptying. We had one of these but had not used it yet. This last trip we did and Finally the black tank read empty when it was. Worked great.

My 2006 18’9 FBR has a compartment in the back for it, but also a square bumper (I bought mine used so maybe put on by a previous owner?) I'm going to see if i can open it - there is a cap screwerd onto ieither end b And then I saw someone put inside their square ‘bumper’ a length of eavestrough so they could pull out the trough w/out yanking on the hose itself. I dont know if my ‘bumper’ is big enough fior a length of eavestrough inside it.

Dawn may be more ‘slippery’ than you think. Ive used it in the toilet AT HOME to get ride of a big ole BM blocking the toilet. Used 1/2 c w a litre of very hot water and poured it in and waited 10 min and it worked like a charm! Google is my friend. Lol
