Default Heading out for the UP today for 10 days

Heading out today for the UP (Upper Peninsula) here in Michigan. It will be our longest trip in a long time. Camping six different places over the next ten days. That will be interesting. Electric at all, showers at all but two. Taking our three old girls (dogs). It will be too early to see much color up there but that's ok. We'll have plenty here later. We'll be on lake Michigan three times , Superior once, and Twin lakes also. We'll be visiting with three of Paul's cousins who are lifetime Yoopers up there. I will be taking lots of photos per usual.

Yea! Which ampground? We stayed at Rivermouth. No complaints. You can rent boats. Trails all along the river to view the different falls. We are at Petoskey State Park tonight and tomorrow. Great campsite. Very wooded, concrete pad and between two unoccupied cabins. We lucked out. Clean modern showers and hiking trails and bike rentals. But no one to check people in. Very weird. Beautiful beach and dunes. Five miles from Petoskey and five from Harbor Springs for those who like cute resort towns. We prefer more wild places. It this campground is really nice.
