Talking Is it Spring yet?

Loving this weather!!!
Got our little dude out for a test pull after all the work this winter. Just a few miles to see how the new axle felt and rode.

Seems to be a real improvement!! I am very pleased.

Decided to wash her up and get her ready for a little trip in a few days.

Gonna run over into South Carolina and meet up with some friends.

Come on guys...let's see those spring wake-up pics!!

What a cutie! Obviously, I am biased -- my screen name is profdant139, after all. We now have an X-139, but the T-139 was our first love. "You never forget your first trailer." (I just made that up -- catchy, eh??)

We almost bought an X but the wife liked the rear sleeping area better so we looked for a T. She's gettin' a little long in the tooth, the T139 NOT the wife,,,, so there are always things to do but we like it a lot. There is something about being cozy that we tend to enjoy. It seems that everywhere we tow people want to stop by our site and they always comment on the little trailer.

Twinster, it's gonna be a long month for you I know.

She's a 2005.
Got another picture before we washed her up.

Post some pics of Jack when you can. There are a few of us 139er's around. It is after all the perfect size.

If you want to see what the X-139 looks like, check out the banner photo at the top of the page -- mine looks exactly like that! Notice that on these newer models, there are no louver windows - one window slides, and the other swings up (the emergency exit window).

Sadly, Fun Finder is no longer making this size -- so hang onto your 139!

It's getting close to washing the trailer temps, it's supposed to reach 60 on Sunday... And I know it's getting close to spring because the Robins said so...

The robins are getting worms up here (though many actually hang out in swamps all winter), our lone cardinal has appeared, the birds are singing their hearts out, the vultures are back from Florida, and the peepers are peeping here in northern Michigan.
66 on Sunday. That will feel pretty warm.

I brought it home this morning.

This afternoon we had some rain and ice pellets. LOL

Regardless, it's parked in the driveway, and will be getting it ready for an outing .. maybe the 14=15=16th if the weather is acceptable.

Yea!!
I'm working on my "stick 'n brick" chores so we can get away for a few days to work off those winter cobwebs.
Everyone should take plenty of pictures of those Spring First trips.

I totally agree! We won't get to "get away" until school is out (DH is a schoolteacher)! Always like to see where others go just in case we are able to put on our "list" of places to go....

I wish it was Spring. Just got 3 inches of snow in southwest Michigan. Weather has been really crappy lately.

You're kidding! Just cloudy and windy up here in northwest Michigan. It must be warmer up here.

Most of the afternoon I have been diddling in my trailer with a heater on and Gordon Lightfoot playing.

Perfect combination. We tore the stairs and stereo and tv shelf out of the Shasta. Lots of fun. 😧 Now Paul is pulling the ugly carpet off of the steps. Millions of staples. I made patterns for the sofa upholstery project.

Lightning, heavy thunder storms and very windy here. We got a cold front coming thru...supposed to go into the 40's Friday night and the dogwood trees are in full bloom! We've had all four seasons in the last two weeks...

We're all hitched up for our little trip!! Just gonna pack a few clothes and groceries in the morning.
