Where is Bridget Nat. Forest? Have you been there before and do you like it? I'm afraid our next trip won't be until Labor Day weekend due to school starting and my knee scope.

It looks like it's in Wyoming.....great country!

Bridger National Forest, a Wyoming natlforest

http://www.stateparks.com/bridger_na...irections.html

That would be in/near the Teton Mountains, located just south of Yellowstone National Park ... seen them several times but never been south of Jackson Hole Wy and Bridger is further south.

The Tetons are totally AWESOME!

It looks like the eclipse will be just north of us. So we'll probably just jump in the truck and head up to Jackson for a perfect view. About 30 miles from where we will be camped.

Yes we have camped here before, we try to come back here at least once each year. We camp along the Greys River.

Have a wonderful trip! How do you deal with the black water when you are boondocking that long? Will you be moving around or staying put?

We use the toilet wisely, we keep an eye the the level, so far it hasn't been a problem with all the boondocking that we do. Leaving in the morning, loading up the trailer today.

Back, had a great time, took a drive up to Jackson Hole what a zoo. Town is full of people and people still coming in, full view of the eclipse there. KOA asking 140 a night. Glad we were south of there.

Had a great time everything went well, good weather, no people had the place to ourselves. Greys river is a great spot, tons of boondocking there.

Some Pics

Wonderful photos and glad you had a fun filled, zero issues trip.

Been to and west of Jackson Hole heading toward the Black Hills but never south and it looks like a nice area to add to my 'gonna go' list.

Thanks for the pics.

Probably good you left Jackson Hole when you did with all the 'lookie loos' showing up for the eclipse which, IMO, won't be a big deal. It will get dark just like it does every evening ... only not as long. LOL
